The ANDROMEDA VACUUM XP is equipped with a powerful vacuum pump which, at the beginning of the cycle, expels any air pockets still present inside the chamber and, at the end of the sterilization phase, guarantees perfect drying of the materials treated. A sophisticated electronic system ensures constant monitoring of pressure, temperature and time. It can work also without the presence of the operator, as all the functions are automatic. The ANDROMEDA VACUUM XP has an electromagnetic block device on the door. The total automatism of each phase of the cycle safeguards against human error, even by inexperienced personnel. Stainless steel chamber, uniformly heated by a band heating element. Twin tank for clean and used water: ANDROMEDA VACUUM XP has 5 sterilization cycles: 121° C and 134° C for unwrapped and wrapped instruments, and a “fl ash” cycle for rapid sterilization. The ANDROMEDA VACUUM XP is supplied with the printer built-in-into the drive board.

Autoclave models Andromeda Vacuum Xp Plus - Andromeda Vacuum Xp have a pump-generated vacuum system. Before the sterilization cycle starts, a pump generates a powerful depression or vacuum, removing all the air pockets still present in the sterilization chamber, and inside the wrappings and materials themselves. The vacuum pump is constructed with special membranes for the aspiration of hot air and steam. Pump-generated vacuum ensures optimum quality of the sterilization cycle for both wrapped and unwrapped instruments. At the end of the sterilization cycle, the pump starts up again to facilitate and improve the drying phase. This vacuum system is adopted for autoclaves with the capacity to sterilize S-type loads.

Safety features on the door
We applied to the door three different safety devices:
• The first is electro-mechanical: it operates when it starts the sterilization cycle and completely blocks the opening of the door.
This device can be unlocked at the end of the cycle, pressing a dedicated button, and only with positive pressure close to zero.
• The second is electrical: it activates automatically when there is a clear intent to force the opening of the machine.
• The third safety is dynamic and operates on the structure of the seal.

Our research and development office, with the support and collaboration of external agencies, have developed a unique system that has been applied for the first time to our autoclaves, this innovative device is the P.I.D.
P.I.D. stands for proportional integral derivative and is the highest expression of the closed-chain control.
The structure of this sophisticated control is simple and flexible.
P.I.D. ensures a constant control and monitoring throughout the functional system of the autoclave, intervening automatically in case of anomalies on the incorrect technical parameters and electronics.
A device that acts as a "real technical" capacity for diagnosis and intervention in real time.

A solution that reduces anomalies and alarms, ensuring maximum reliability, and minimize any machine down times.

Prefixed Cycles that cannot be manipulated
All the cycles are pre-set and guarantee a safe sterilization of the treated materials at all times.
There is no possibility of intervention and manipulation by operators of cycles, thus avoiding any possible human error.
All cycles ensure sterilization of B type loads.
All sterilization procedures have a fractionated vacuum system, controls and parameters that ensure the sterilization of type B loads.
Even an incorrect selection of the desired cycle ensures a consistently safe sterilization of all types of material treated.

Ergonomics and ease of use
Just press a button to select the cycle and another button to start the entire process.
It’s impossible to go wrong, it’s also impossible to select a cycle that does not ensure proper sterilization, any operational error is signaled by error messages.

SD Card
Collection and storage of data relating to the autoclave cycles and monitoring are performed via an SD card.
